Technopath Clinical Diagnostics is a global leader in the development and manufacture of total quality control (QC) solutions for clinical laboratories.
Technopath’s core product offering is focused on making the QC process simpler and more efficient for laboratories and more accurate and precise for patients by designing products that are targeted at clinical decision points and consolidating the number of quality control materials required by the laboratory while automating the reporting and data management process. Technopath has focussed on creating a lean product design that ensures end-users minimise their carbon footprint.

There are three main activities in Traverse City:
- LGC’s operations at this site support American Proficiency Institute, the second largest clinical PT provider in the United States. LGC provides services such as IT, dispatch, commercial and customer services to API and its 20,000 customers in the United States
- The LGC technical group offers its own proficiency program, the AXIO Clinical Laboratory Scheme (CLS), to clinical laboratories outside the US who are not tied to US regulatory requirements
- A third group of employees supports the non-clinical AXIO proficiency testing schemes managed out of Bury, UK

Twickenham is a suburb of London located just 10 miles from the city centre and a short distance from our Teddington offices.
Twickenham is home to LGC’s Grant Management Group (GMG), an experienced team of 190 colleagues within LGC’s National Laboratories and Science Business Unit. LGC’s Grant Management Group (GMG) operates three centres for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC): the Central Commissioning Facility (CCF) and the Centre for Engagement and Dissemination (CED) from Twickenham (with some CED staff working from Southampton); and the NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI) from Central London.
