LGC announces new senior appointments

LGC has announced three new senior appointments.

Chief People Officer

Joining LGC on 5 October, Lisa Amaya Price will become new Chief People Officer (CPO) for LGC. Prior to joining LGC, Lisa was SVP, Human Resources at Scholar Rock, Inc. a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in Massachusetts, USA, and was Global Head of Human Resources for Takeda’s vaccine business unit. Before joining Takeda, Lisa served in various positions of increasing responsibility at Biogen, Inc between 2008 and 2016.

Tim Robinson CBE, Chief Executive Officer, LGC, said, “Lisa is a proven business leader with over 20 years of experience in developing human resource strategies and leading people recruitment, selection, and development with companies large and small in the life sciences sector. Lisa’s focus is on ensuring that organisations build inclusive environments where all employees can grow and do their best work. We welcome Lisa to LGC”.

General Counsel and Company Secretary

Greer McMullen has joined LGC as General Counsel and Company Secretary, starting 14 September.

Tim Robinson said, “Greer brings a wealth of experience spanning executive roles in a number of industries, including eight years at GE, six years at The Service Master Company and most recently four years at Coty Inc.

He has operated across a number of different geographies and cultures, in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. We welcome Greer to LGC.”

Non-Executive Director

Dr Tish Creasey is joining the LGC Board, as an independent Non-Executive Director.

Prior to joining the LGC Board, Tish served as Executive Vice President & Head of Applied Solutions Strategy, Marketing and Innovation for MilliporeSigma, a Merck KGaA Darmstadt Company. In this capacity, Tish was responsible for strategy, marketing and innovation focusing on the Applied Markets for diagnostics, food testing, purified lab water and microbiology applications.

Tim Robinson continued, “Tish has extensive expertise in product development, operations and manufacturing in life science organisations. She has over 30 years’ experience of directed multidisciplinary product development in the life science and pharmaceutical markets and a successful track record managing in Fortune 500 environments and small entrepreneurial settings.
